Damn!! Thursday.

On this edition of Damn!! Thursday I'm doing something a little different. Instead of focusing on things that are so horrible I can only utter the word "Damn!!", I will instead feature awesome things. Things that are so awesome they will leave you saying "Damn!!". So in short these are good "Damn!!"s not bad "Damn!!"s. Right, let's just get to the post.

There is nothing better than a dip in the pool on a hot day. It is such a refreshing activity that even bears are taking part. Well, at least one bear is. Anne Krineski Joyce, of Morristown N.J., took the above picture. She was alerted to the presence of the bear by her 12-year-old daughter. While she waited for the arrival of the authorities she watched the bear and took a few pictures. You can read more about her encounter here.

The above picture is of Super Kitty. Super Kitty, as of the taking of this picture, was 6 weeks old. He suffered from a deformity on his chest. He underwent a successful surgery and his since been adopted. There is more information and an amazing gallery of pictures here.

This is a picture of a giant Crocodile that was caught in the Philippines. Guinness has declared it the largest saltwater crocodile in captivity. Now what makes this story awesome is that the animal, which is believed to be responsible for a few attacks, was caught alive and is now in an eco-tourism park. Instead of simply killing the creature these people caught it, placed it in a safe area, and are now making money off of it. You can read more here.

Let's take a break from the animal kingdom and talk about Priscilla Dang. Priscilla was accosted by two teenagers recently. When the confrontation grew violent she fought back. Using the skills she learned from training in Kung Fu for 18 years. It turns out that Priscilla's family owns Summit Wushu Academy in Clackamans. It is fair to say they fucked with the wrong girl. Let's stick with the subject of 'People doing things that you would think the couldn't/wouldn't'. The boy in the picture is six-year-old Bradley Reid, he is sitting with his grand father Walter Small. The two were out on Walter's ATV when the vehicle's rear tire got caught in a rut. This resulted in the two, along with the ATV, falling into a patch of Alder bushes. Walter was able to pull Bradley free but was trapped under the vehicle. The young boy knew it was too far to go for help so he stayed by his grandfather's side the entire night. For hours the boy listened for help while keeping his 'Poppy', as he called him, awake. Our last item is about the thing that dreams are made of. Imagine for a second being able to go into your garage and having a giant mech. A huge robotic exoskeleton that you can sit inside and control. Think about that. Anyone with a penis and most people without them would be squealing like little girls at the sight of a pony/unicorn hybrid. That can now be you. If you have $1.3 million.
