On this edition of Damn!! Thursday I am once again doing something a little different. I want to take a look at a few stories about Bullying in schools that I have come across. What makes these stories different is that they all come from Japan. I know that bullying is nothing new and is an issue the world over but these particular stories caught my attention. It isn't that they are extreme examples of just how bad bullying can get, even though they are, it is more about the response of the Adults to these situations. I would also like to recount my own very minor experience with the subject.

Instead of focusing on things that are so horrible I can only utter the word "Damn!!", I will instead feature awesome things. Things that are so awesome they will leave you saying "Damn!!". So in short these are good "Damn!!"s not bad "Damn!!"s. Right, let's just get to the post.

It's that time again. Time to delve into the seedy underbelly of humanity and scrape away at the worst of the worst. It's time to bring the things that lurk in the shadows out into the sun. Or to find the funny/stupid things that make you feel better about yourself. Either because you get a laugh out of them or, more likely, due to the sudden realization that there are so many people out there stupider than you. Hell, maybe we'll find some uplifting or borderline miraculous stories. The picture above is of a Chinese bridge constructor who had a really bad day. He was impaled by multiple metal bars when a machine malfunctioned. Amazingly, he survived the incident and is recovering in a hospital. Read more here.

It's that time again. Time to dig through the undercarriage of the Internet to find the worst and the weirdest that the world has to offer. As I am sure you have heard there has recently been a string of cannibal/zombie type crimes. The most talked about being the incident in Miami. We'll start there and see just how far this shit goes. In case you were wondering about the picture above, its a weird story. A man decided that the best thing to do with his recently departed cat was turn it into the abomination you see up there. He had the thing stuffed and turned it into a remote control Cat-Copter. Sick.

I've been having a problem with these Damn!! posts. Sometimes I can't decide whether the stories posted here should be funny, terrifying, disgusting, disturbing, or thought provoking. I usual try to fit one story per category. The issue being that a lot of these come from the same website. I have been trying to diversify the sources and as such these post may move to a twice monthly schedule. I am not sure if that will happen or not. It's a possibility. I have had an interesting week. I took a bit of a fall about 5 days ago. As I was going into the bath room a slipped on the wet floor and ended up in what would have become a split had I not caught myself. I was stuck unable to pull my legs together and unsure of how to get out of that position. Eventually, after calling my mother for help, I fell on my ass and tweaked my knee. It still hurts but it isn't that bad. Today, during my weekly appointment with my Psychiatrist which I have missed all too frequently, my doctor suggested I undergo Lap Band surgery. I'm still thinking about it. Anyway forget all that, let's get to the weird, upsetting, and funny. Firstly the picture above. It's a Golden Eagle carrying a knife. It is FUCKING AWESOME. When Thursday comes around, I find that I have dozens of links to stories that are Damn!! worthy. At least from afar. When I look closer and actually roll the story around in my head those dozens of stories shrink down to just a handful. What I am trying to say is that I don't just throw a few links together and call it a day. No I start with a a lot of links and then take a few and throw them together and call it a day. You see. I love the above picture. I know it's just a pic of a boy and a chicken (Possibly a Rooster either way we will talk about a boy and his Cock later) but the kid has so much attitude. The word Damn can be used in many ways. For this series of post I use it as an exclamation of awe. Today I had another reason to use. In anger. Whether purposefully or not I was insulted. I should say I felt Insulted. I had an appointment with my psychiatrist today. During our session she "implied" that I may not be creative enough to be a writer. To be perfectly honest I am probably reading her intentions wrong. I am sure she meant what she said in the most helpful of ways. Although that does not make my anger any less real. I was angry. Damn!! Angry.

Anyway now that that is out of the way let's get to the good stuff.

I'm a dog person. I have always loved dogs. In fact I have had a dog from the day I was born until just a few years ago. During that time I have learned that dogs have feelings. Anyone who has ever had a dog knows this. One thing that people may not be aware of is just how deep those feeling run. There have been stories of dogs staying by the dead bodies of their owners until they themselves perish, or of dogs facing incredible danger to protect the ones it loves.
