Damn!! Thursday.

It's that time again. Time to trawl the Internet for anything that can elicit an exclamation of "DAMN!!". The above picture features monkeys in masks. I don't like monkeys and masks just make things worse. Now the monkeys can fuck with you without worrying about being identified.  I'm not going to waste any more time so let's jump right into it.

For future reference do not have gay sex in Dominica.

Let's start with something that is both funny and shockingly stupid. Two men, on a gay cruise, were arrested for having sex, with each other, in Dominica. Now say what you want about a country making gay sex illegal, I for one think it is stupid, but what really gets to me is something different. Why in the world would a gay cruise have a stop off in a country where gay sex is illegal? That's like going on a pub crawl in a country were drinking is illegal. It's just stupid.

Modern day life is all about peaceful integration of different cultures. Living in New York I have seen the wonders of this first hand. Some people are unable to appreciate this. Some people see the adorable little girl above and spit on her. To be precise a group of racist thugs attack the owner of a store in Sunderland. The thugs, made up of two men and a woman, attempted to steal chips from the store. When the owner chased after them she accidentally locked herself out of her store. The thugs, sensing an opportunity to be giant assholes, attacked the woman. They beat her, hit her 13 year old daughter in the face, and spit on her four year old daughter. Stories like this just make me tired.

Moving on. I've only been to an amusement park once in my life. While there I rode one ride, the Ferris wheel. Partly because even then I was fat and didn't want to risk the embarrassment of not fitting and because I am scared of heights. The video above is proof that my fears are not unfounded. In it a three year old girl is hurled from a carnival ride.

One of the constant reminders of living in a big city is the sound of an Ambulance. That high pitched whine that tells you to get out of the way. It's a sound that screams urgency. The people in the above video disagree with me. I'm not going to point at an entire city an call them out for this but I can't say the same for the commentors in the following link. Sticking with Asia let's move to China. A girl is mugged, knocked unconscious, and left in a ditch. When she is found by cops she is mistakenly identified as a dead homeless girl. As such the cops supposedly have her thrown into another ditch. Two days later she is found, alive, and taken to a hospital. You can read more here. Once again the link is Not Safe for Work.

Let's end on something uplifting and stupidly dangerous. Felix Baumgartner enjoys spitting in death face. So much so that he plans on jumping from the edge of space to earth. Well not exactly. The jump will be from 120,000 feet which is over 200,000 feet below "the edge of space" but is still damn impressive. Read more here.
