Damn!! Thursday.

I missed doing Web Wednesday yesterday. I am sorry about that. I was a little under the weather. I'll try to make sure not to do that very often. Anyway it's Thursday. Which, of course, means it's time to spotlight things that make you say "DAMN!!".

What you are looking at in the above picture is a "Cloud Tsunami". You can find an in depth explanation of the event here. It has to do with the wind, the moisture of the air, and the condos themselves. The picture and more like it were taken by J.R. Hott of Panhandle Helicopters and posted on his Facebook page. I haven't spent much time reading about the phenomenon but the beauty and power of the pictures speak for themselves.

So what do you do when you are an Extreme Sport athlete and get severely injured? Well you do the same things you did before but just in a wheelchair. Is that what is happening in the video above? No. Although I am sure there are videos that show just that. This video however shows Aaron Fotheringham, who was born with Spina Bifida, at the Nitro Circus Live World Tour. The record setting jump is just awe inspiring. Aaron isn't the only extreme wheelchair athlete (Seriously how cool is it that that is a thing?). You can find plenty more videos like it on Youtube.

 

The above picture, of a shark eating a shark, has nothing to do with the story I am about to talk about. I couldn't find an appropriate picture. Which is a good thing. Imagine if the shark eating the other shark was a crocodile and the second shark was an old man's testicles. Yeah, now you understand why not finding a picture of that is a blessing. Anyway for a more in depth (Like you need anything more than "Elderly man's testicles attacked by crocodile" but I digress.) look at the event can be found here.

 

Our next item is just a bit of fun. It is a video of a Remote Controlled Surfer riding circles around a real surfer. I was just really amused by the fact that RC surfers exist and work so well. 

 

Apparently their are fathers in Nicaragua who are worried about their sons not being macho. It would seem that masturbating is so frowned upon that these men are making sure their kids lose their virginity. To insure this they fathers take their sons to prostitutes. I don't mean pretty Julia Roberts prostitutes. Although to be honest I always though she looked like a horse. Anyway these women are proper street whores. I guess masturbation isn't macho but herpes is.

For the final item of the day we have a good old-fashioned fist fight. This one, between two black men, takes place in a restroom. The fight itself is not extraordinary. What is extraordinary is the man in the white shirt. He comes out throwing bombs. Now don't get me wrong. He is not a graceful or accurate puncher but there is no denying his power. He, to put it bluntly, knocks the other guy the FUCK out. All I can say is DAMN!!
