Damn!! Thursday.

I have had an interesting week. I took a bit of a fall about 5 days ago. As I was going into the bath room a slipped on the wet floor and ended up in what would have become a split had I not caught myself. I was stuck unable to pull my legs together and unsure of how to get out of that position. Eventually, after calling my mother for help, I fell on my ass and tweaked my knee. It still hurts but it isn't that bad. Today, during my weekly appointment with my Psychiatrist which I have missed all too frequently, my doctor suggested I undergo Lap Band surgery. I'm still thinking about it. Anyway forget all that, let's get to the weird, upsetting, and funny. Firstly the picture above. It's a Golden Eagle carrying a knife. It is FUCKING AWESOME. Let's start with a funny one. The woman above is Jenny Wright. While pregnant, under orders from her Doctor, she jogged daily. This is a good thing. Experts recommend that moms-to-be engage in moderate exercise. The mothers she met on her daily jog felt differently. They referred to her as a "Selfish Cow" (I love British people and cute insults) because she was exercising. Read the story here.

Kid's nowadays, god saying that makes me feel old, have to deal with helicopter parents. If you don't know a "Helicopter Parent" is a mother or father that hovers around their child. They are the reason that children's sports rarely keep score because god forbid if their little snowflake wasn't treated with kid gloves. This story is the perfect example. A few parents looked upon a slide at a playground and felt that the slide was too much for the child to take by themselves. As such they went down the slide with them. This has resulted in injuries to the kids. Which is ironic.

This one is disturbing. South Korea is cracking down on pills filled with the powdered flesh of dead babies that are coming from China. I assume this is because powdering the flesh of living babies is noisy. Now South Korea cracking down on this isn't disturbing. What is disturbing is that this is even a thing. Supposedly some people believe the pills cure certain diseases. Maybe the do. I wouldn't know. I don't feel the need to take a pill full of DEAD BABY! But that's just me. Read more here.

There is a common misconception about Pit-bulls. Most people think they are inherently violent. This is not true. They may, and I stress May, be more aggressive then other dogs. By other dogs I mean lap dogs, and certain fashionable breeds. When compared to Rottweilers, Dobermans, and German Shepherds the difference is negligible. I had a Pit-bull. His name was Buster and he was an absolute sweet heart. I will confess that he didn't like other dogs but if you were a person he automatically loved you. I am just saying this because the breed gets a bad rap. Read this story to see how caring they can be.

Let's end as always with massive bodily harm. The above video shows a group of college students partaking in a foam sword battle. You would think that no harm can come from this.
