This is going to be an interesting post. G.I.Joe is a great show, but it can sometimes degrade into a bucket of crazy. We have some great examples of that this week. One in particular went so out of whack I don't I was on an acid trip. Let me share that with you.
G.I.Joe Episode 41
The Gods Below.
This episode is bat shit insane. It begins in a Cobra HQ with Cobra Commander speaking to an Archaeologist. The Archaeologist whose name is Dr. Marsh has apparently located the secret tomb of Osiris. Cobra Commander has heard that the tomb houses a treasure. He wants to use it to arm his men.
Dr. Marsh warns Cobra Commander that the Tomb is a maze of passageways, it is full of deadly traps, and the treasure is cursed. Cobra Commander ignores the warnings. Dr. Marsh also tells Cobra Commander that by now the Egyptian government will have noticed that he has gone missing and will send troops out to find him. Cobra Commander assures Dr marsh that his men will be able to handle them.
In the desert we see a military convoy attacked by Cobra. The troops are run off and whatever vehicles haven't been destroyed are taken by Cobra.
The Cobra forces arrive at the tomb and appear to enter. As they do Duke, Lady Jaye, Barbecue, Alpine, and Bazooka make their entrance. The Joes had hidden themselves on the vehicles so to catch Cobra off guard.
To their surprise Cobra is nowhere to be seen. Thinking that they have already entered the tomb the Joes follow. After which Cobra Commander, the Baroness, Dr. Marsh, and the Cobra troops reveal themselves. Cobra Commander had somehow known that the Joes were there and tricked them into going into the tomb.
The Baroness asks if this is a wise choice. Cobra Commander, in a moment of intelligence, explains that by doing it this way the Joes will either lead them to the treasure or die trying.
It's not long before the Joes face the first trap. Two statues fire spears at them which in turn close off the area they are in. They try to escape the area before a second door closes but fall down a shoot. As the Joes try to find a way out we learn that the entire structure is full of small airways that allow Cobra Commander to hear the Joes. The passageways work both ways and Cobra Commander must be careful so as to not be heard by the Joes.
Lady Jaye is able to translate some hieroglyphics that give the Joes an idea of what they may have to deal with. They continue on their search for an exit but get cut off again. Duke announces that they are trapped and have no way out. Cobra Commander hears this and tells the Joes they are no longer of any use to him.
He plans on destroying them until Lady Jaye tricks him into believing they have found the treasure. Cobra Commander sends a group Crimson Guardsman to check. The Joes overpower them and steal their uniforms.
Disguised as Crimson Guardsman the Joes attempt to make an escape. They are cut off by the Baroness who suspects them of being dishonest. The Joes convince the Baroness and Cobra Commander that they had discovered the treasure.
The disguised Joe leads the Cobra forces on a wild goose chase, during which they attempt to escape with Dr. Marsh. This ends quickly and the Joes continue to "lead" Cobra Commander to the treasure.
They Joes inadvertently find the treasure for Cobra Commander. Cobra Commander sets off a trap that knocks him and the Cobra forces out. The Joes take this chance to make a run for it.
This is where this show goes off the rails. The Joes activate another trap. This one takes them into another realm. They meet Osiris and a number of other Egyptian gods and Legends. The Joes are judged to see if they are worthy of passing on to the after life or be destroyed.
Meanwhile Cobra Commander meets Set. Cobra Commander and the Baroness attempt to convince Set that they are his followers. Set has them demonstrate their loyalty by kneeling before him.
The Joes, meanwhile, are faced with a challenge. They are transported into what appears to be outer space on a flying ankh. During this they are met by Amun Ra and his daughter. This judgement involves the Joes surviving a fight with Sekhet, who is a giant cat woman with wings. During the fight Alpine falls off the ankh and Bazooka jumps after him. The Joes win the fight and Alpine and Bazooka, who for some reason are riding a giant goose, are returned. The Joes are found worthy and are sent along to the after life.
In the land of the living Set sends the Cobra forces off with bags of treasure. He leads them to an exist and seems to have a plan of his own.
As Cobra Commander leaves the tomb with the treasure a huge storm begins. This storm foretells the coming of Set. The disruptions are felt below by the Joes who are being ferried across the river of the dead by Anubis.
The Joes convince Anubis to return them to the land of the living so that they can fight Cobra and prevent Set from being freed.
The Joes succeed and stop Set. The episode ends with Anubis dropping the Joes into a nearby body of water.
This was just weird. I mean what do I say? The Joes
Quote of the Episode.
From Duke.
"Just what I need an asp in my ear."
Awesome Moment of the Episode.
Lady Jaye punches an Egyptian God in the face. I repeat Lady Jaye punches an Egyptian God in the face. And the god actually feels it. That is the epitome of Bad Ass.
The "Wait. What?" Moment of the Episode.
Holy shit. This episode was fucking weird from beginning to end. If I had to pick one moment to point at as the most "Wait. What?" it has to be Bazooka and Alpine riding on the back of a giant swan. In a nether world plain. After partaking in a judgement. It is made particularly weird by Bazooka saying "Good Birdie." I need to lay down.
Primordial Plot.
This episode begins on an archaeological dig. An Archaeologist is informing someone that they have found dinosaur bones. These are not fossils but perfectly preserved bones.
As the man is speaking Wild Weasel flies overhead in a Cobra Rattler. He proceeds to attack the site and steal some of the bones.
We then move to a scientist named Dr. Massey giving a presentation. He has attempted to clone a snake from a single cell. During his speech the cloned egg begins to hatch. With his work proven his assistant reveals himself to be a Crimson Guardsman and with the help of a Cobra trooper in a Fang he kidnaps Dr. Massey.
Sometime later Flint, Scarlett, Roadblock, and Gung Ho are discussing Cobra's plan to clone dinosaurs. A few of the Joes are initially skeptical and then note that even if Cobra succeeds it would take years for the dinosaurs to grow. Airtight, who has just arrived, tells them that Dr. Massey has also created a growth catalyst that would allow the dinosaurs to grow to full size in just 24 hours.
Deep Six is able to find Cobra on an uncharted island and informs Flint of it's location. With that the Joes head off to the Cobra base to save Dr. Massey and stop Cobra.
In a Cobra fortress on the island Dr Massey, who is being held by Tomax and Xamot, is forced to work for cobra. The Doctor quickly accomplishes the goal set before him. He has cloned a number of perfect dinosaurs. After they are subjected to the growth catalyst the fully grown dinosaurs are fitted with a control device. This device will allow Cobra Commander to fully control them.
When the Joes arrive the are quickly shot down. Gung Ho and Scarlett eject safely but Flint goes down with his Sky Striker and lands in a lake. Gung Ho and Scarlett arrive just as his plane goes under. They believe him to be lost and begin to walk away. They are stopped by Flint who has survived the crash with nothing more than a headache.
As the Joes discuss what to do next they see some Cobra troops and hide. Gung Ho suggest calling in an air strike but they have lost their radios. As such they are completely alone. They have no choice but to take on Cobra themselves.
The Joes make their way through the swamp and inadvertently alert Cobra to their presence. Cobra Commander sends out his new army of dinosaurs. Dr Massey is shocked that Cobra Commander would send the dinosaurs out without feeding them first. Cobra Commander assures the doctor that he is doing just that.
It doesn't take long before the Joes are confronted by the dinosaurs. Scarlett remarks that they seem to be smarter than she thought they would. She notices a camera and they Joes figure out that the creatures are somehow being controlled. She destroys the camera leaving the dinosaur to operate on pure instinct.
The Joes are chased into a small cave and think themselves safe.
Back at the fortress Destro Orders a group of crimson Guardsman to track the Joes encase the dinosaurs fail to finish them off. They arrive just as a smaller dinosaur heads into the cave. This smaller dinosaur attacks Flint. Scarlett and Gung Ho are unable to help but distract it long enough for flint to escape. This results in the creature taking Flint's back pack and eating his food pack.
Scarlett realizes the dinosaurs are just hungry. She tells the others that humans taste horrible and any animal would rather have normal food. To prove this she fires a food pack, placed on arrow, out into an opening. Surprisingly the dinosaurs follow it. They follow it right to the Crimson guardsmen who believe the Joes to have been devoured. With the dinosaurs bearing down on them they flee in terror.
The Joes leave the cave and check the Crimson Guardsmen's vehicles for anything they could use. They find dynamite.
At the Cobra base Cobra Commander is proclaiming his victory. As he yells about killing the Joes Scarlett and Gung Ho fly through a window and attack. They tussle with Cobra Commander and attempt to get his control device.
The two Joes find themselves outnumbered and captured. Cobra Commander asks what they would have done had the succeeded. The dinosaurs could not reach the fortress. Gung Ho tells him that the plan wasn't to bring the dinosaurs to the fortress but to bring the fortress to the dinosaurs. As soon as he finishes saying that Flint sets off a huge explosion.
The explosions leaves the fortress vulnerable and allows Scarlett and Gung Ho to summon the dinosaurs. As everyone fights for the control device it lands in the hands of Dr Massey. He tells the creatures that there is food in the fortress before the device is completely lost.
With everything going wrong Destro escapes with Tomax and Xamot. The Joes, Dr Massey, and Cobra Commander jump out of the fortress as well. After falling Flint attempts to arrest Cobra Commander only to find him gone. The episode ends with the dinosaurs feasting on Cobra's food supplies.
This episode wasn't very good. There were a number of animation problems and the voice work on Dr. Massey sounded odd. His voice was just too high. He ended up sounding like he was constantly whining. The dinosaurs were cool but are a weak follow up to Egyptian Gods. This was made worse by the animation mistakes. Nothing felt consistent. A perfect example is the ending. Dr. Massey mentions that his benefactors would be interested in the dinosaurs but Flint cuts him off. He nastily tells him that they will just leave them there. It's an odd moment and somewhat out of character for Flint. Definitely one to pass over.
Quote of the Episode.
From Destro.
"Save the pompous chatter for later Commander!"
Awesome Moment of the Episode.
The episode ends with a scene of Dinosaurs attacking a Cobra fortress. This includes dinosaur on Cobra trooper violence. I don't have to tell you how awesome that is.
The "Wait. What?" Moment of the Episode.
We learn in this episode that the Cobra troopers are unionized. They get coffee breaks and everything. I wonder if they have a decent medical plan. Actually if they do get medical who would cover them? It must be run through a shell company or under Extensive Enterprises. Thoughts like this keep me up at night.
G.I.Joe Episode 43
Flint's Vacation.
This episode begins in a small town full of distant looking people. We quickly move from there to Joe HQ were we see that Flint is going on vacation. As Lady Jaye walks Flint to his car we learn that he is planing on visiting his cousin's family at a place called Pleasant Cove, which is an experimental housing development.
When Flint arrives his cousin's and the cousin's family act very distant and almost apathetic to his arrival. Moments after he get's there they all go to bed. Flint mentions that it is still very early but that does nothing to stop them.
Flint, possibly feeling un-welcomed, calls Lady Jaye to hear a friendly voice. She tells him that next time he may want to call first. He agrees and heads to sleep himself.
Sometime later Flint awakes from a nightmare and notices people walking through the street. He checks the house only to find his cousin and the family gone. Flint gets dressed and investigates. He sees Cobra Troops and follows the people to the dock.
Flint attempts to save his cousin's son but is seen. Flint manages to get off the docks and reaches the local Sheriffs station. He informs the Sheriff about Cobra's actions only to find that the Sheriff and his deputies are in fact Zartan and the Dreadnoks. Flint escapes from the Sheriff's station and goes on the run. Eventually he is forced off the road and caught. After which he is put in a submarine with the rest of the people and taken to a secret underwater city.
Cobra Commander and the Baroness, who are in the city, are over looking what appears to be a green house full of dead plants. Cobra Commander says it is beautiful.
When the sub arrives Flint is met by Cobra Commander who gives him a tour. During this tour Flint sees his cousin and calls to him but gets no reply. Cobra Commander informs Flint that all of the town's people are mind controlled. They are being used as slave labor much Flint's disgust. He shows Flint how it is done by brainwashing him as well.
Later Cobra Commander makes a public announcement. He tells the worlds governments that if they don't hand power over to him he will use a missile equipped with a new weapon that will kill all plant life on the planet. The only people that will survive the famine will be the ones in his city.
Lady Jaye and the Joes watch this announcement and see Flint in the background. This gives them a general idea as to where the Cobra city is.
Lady Jaye and Breaker parachute into the town under the cover of darkness. While investigating Breaker notices a satellite dish that is pointed down instead of up. The two locate and infiltrate a Cobra station where Breaker learns that Cobra Commander is using subliminal messages to brainwash the masses.
Lady Jaye tells Breaker to find a way to undo the brainwashing while she heads to the docks. When she sees the subs she radios the Joe carrier. On the carrier we see that Ace is taking a Cobra Commander dartboard to Breaker.
A group of Joes made up Quick Kick, Shipwreck, Cutter, and Tripwire are aboard a Joe Whale. As they head for the dock they are attacked by Zartan and the Dreadnoks. They dodge the attack but get hit by the Baroness and Major Bludd in another vessel.
The Baroness and Major Bludd have no time to gloat as they are hit by a Cobra sub being driven by Lady Jaye. She picks up the Joes and heads for the underwater city.
Meanwhile Ace drops Bazooka and the dartboard off at the Cobra Station.
Once in the city they are immediately seen. Cobra Commander sends the brainwashed citizens after the Joes. Lady Jaye, Quick Kick, Shipwreck, Tripwire, and Cutter find themselves under attack but unable to fight back. When Flint arrives the Joes greet him only to be attacked. During the scuffle Tripwire, Flint, and Lady Jaye all leave the group.
Tripwire finds the missile, which is on a countdown, but cannot stop it from launching. Lady Jaye follows Flint and ends up in an area that leads to the ocean. Cobra Commander order Flint to seal the area off and open it to the ocean thereby drowning the two Joes.
Flint is about to do it when he begins to come to. Cobra commander sees that all of the people are breaking free from his control. He investigates and learns that Breaker, with the help of Bazooka, has interfered with the subliminal control.
With the control broken the people return to the surface as the Joes with Flint try to capture Cobra Commander. Cobra Commander tells them that they are to late as the missile has already launched. Tripwire arrives and confirms this. He was unable to stop the missile but did change it's destination so that it would fly directly into space.
Cobra Commander, having failed and being surrounded, hits the self destruct and escapes. The Joes head to the last sub and get out in the nick of time.
The episode ends with Flint and Lady Jaye at Flint's cousin's house. Lady Jaye tells Flint that he has been given another two weeks of vacation but he refuses. He'd rather go back to work where he can get some peace and quiet.
This was a much better episode. The voice work and animation were back at an acceptable level and the story was actually a little disturbing. The way the people of Pleasant Cove acted in a creepy manner and looked the part. Flint and Lady Jaye always work well together so I have very little to complain about. Give it a shot.
Quote of the Episode.
From Breaker.
"They look like they've been Zombie-ized."
Awesome Moment of the Episode.
Polly, who sadly is no longer a GIANT FUCKING PARROT, helps to fight off the mind controlled masses. I'm used to seeing Junkyard and Freedom fight but seeing Polly put the screws to someone is both hilarious and awesome.
The "Wait. What?" Moment of the Episode.
Apparently the Joe Whale Hovercraft can actually hover. With a torpedo about to hit them Ship wreck tells cutter to hit the vertical thrusters. This propels the craft a couple of feet in the air. Now this isn't a angled jump the thing goes straight into the air. I'm not an expert on Hovercraft but I'm pretty sure they don't work that way.
G.I.Joe Episode 44
Hearts and Cannons.
This episode begins with Cobra forces rounding up people in a middle eastern country. A man, watching from a far, vows to avenge them.
In the skies above a large Joe transport plane hits turbulence and have it's engines taken out by lightning. Aboard the plane Wild Bill tells Cover Girl, Footloose, and Dusty to lighten the load by discarding their cargo.
The Joes empty the hold going so far as to eject a G.I.Joe Mauler tank. Wild Bill tells them that they need to get rid of 400 more pounds. Footloose and Dusty, against Cover Girl's wishes, dive out of the plane to cut the last bit of weight.
The two Joes make a safe landing and awaken in the morning. They discover that they have landed near a Cobra facility. As they watch Destro puts a new weapon through it's paces. The weapon a Plasma Cannon, which is equipped on a tank, is very powerful.
Destro compliments the weapons creator Dr. Winters. She brushes it off and asks for her freedom as was agreed. Destro tells her that she will be freed in due time.
After seeing Dr. Winters being taken away the two Joes decide to enter the facility. They wait until night and hijack a Cobra Jeep. They use the Cobra trooper to gain entry and then knock him out.
After finding Dr. Winters, the two take her and attempt to escape. Dusty knocks a Cobra trooper into an alarm thereby alerting the base to their presence.
Footloose and Dr. Winters get into the jeep while Dusty lands on top of it. The three take a wild ride that leads out of the base and into a mine field.
Dr. Winters steps on one of the mines activating it. With Destro and Major Bludd hot on their heels Footloose comes up with a plan and they get past the mines. Destro orders the Cobra Troopers to follow but they aren't willing to risk going across the mine field. They have little choice when Destro orders the Rattlers to shoot them if they do not. Footloose, Dusty, and Dr. Winters continue on and head into the desert.
At a nearby airport the Joe plane comes in for a landing. It is met by Flint who is informed that Footloose and Dusty had to jump ship. Flint calls in a rescue squad in the hopes that the two Joes are still alive.
In the desert the two Joes and Dr. Winters are spotted by Cobra Rattlers. Dusty sends Footloose and Dr. Winters on ahead while he tries to slow Cobra down. Dusty is able to do more than that. He shoots the Rattlers down and manages to get a hold of another Cobra Jeep.
Footloose and Dr. Winters on the other hand are stuck in an ever worsening sandstorm. Dusty contacts them and and tries to reach the two. When the Jeep's locator goes bust he tells Footloose to keep his radio on so that he can home onto him that way. As soon as he says that someone appears and cuts Footloose's radio in half.
We soon learn that man, whose name is Jabal, was the man from the beginning of the episode. He believes Footloose and Dr. Winters to be members of Cobra. When he sees a G.I.Joe patch on Footloose's arm he realizes his mistake. He tells Footloose that he recognizes it from the "chariot" that fell from the sky. The "chariot" being the Mauler from earlier.
As Footloose looks over the Mauler a fleet of Trouble Bubbles arrive. They spot the fire Jabal had made and attack. Jabal uses his sword to take out one while Footloose and Dr. Winters use the Mauler. With that done the three set out.
Nearby Dusty, who is still trying to find Footloose and Dr. Winters, runs out of gas. He is contacted by Footloose who informs him that they got the Mauler back. Dusty asks for a ride and Footloose tells him he is on his way.
At the Cobra facility Destro and Major Bludd are not only listening to this but have Dusty's location.
In a funny moment we see that Dr. Winters, who both Dusty and Footloose have taken a liking to, fall for Jabal's smooth lines. Guess they won't be getting the girl in this episode.
Meanwhile Dusty sees that Cobra is coming his way. He uses the Jeeps weapons but is unable to take out the new tank. When Footloose arrives its a tank on tank battle. At first Destro has the upper hand but Dr. Winters tells Footloose that the new tank has no armor on it's back side. Dusty and Footloose work together to destroy the tank and win the battle. Destro escapes but the two Joes round up the rest of the Cobra Troopers.
When Flint, Roadblock, and Wild Bill arrive they find Dusty and Footloose marching dozens of Cobra troopers through he desert.
The episode ends with the revelation that Jabal is actually the King of the country they are in and that Dr. Winters has fallen for him.
This was a nice surprise. There haven't been many episode starring Footloose and Dusty but I really like the two of them together. Footloose became one of my favorite Joes from watching this episode. The voice acting for his character was great. The pacing of the episode was spot on and the animation was good. Definitely one of the better more realistic episodes. It gets a strong recommendation from me.
Quote of the Episode.
From Footloose.
"I'm like meditating man."
Awesome Moment of the Episode.
Jabal shows how bad ass he is by taking down a Cobra Trouble Bubble with a sword. I don't even think that's possible.
The "Wait. What?" Moment of the Episode.
For some reason the inside of Cobra's Plasma Cannon Tank is purple. I like to think that Destro had that done on purpose. Either way the pimped out interior caught my attention.
G.I.Joe Episode 45
Memories of Mara.
This episode begins on a ship. Duke, Lady Jaye, and Shipwreck are aboard and are looking for a missing American sub. What they find is Cobra.
Aboard a Cobra sub Cobra Commander, Destro, and the Crimson Twins are watching the ship. Cobra Commander says that they cannot allow the ship to search in that area. Destro agrees and prepares to torpedo the ship.
Back on board the ship Shipwreck spots a woman in the water. She appears to be in distress. Shipwreck grabs a life preserver and goes after her.
As Shipwreck tries to save the woman Destro fires the torpedoes. On the ship the Captain orders anti torpedo missiles to be fired. As that is happening Polly flies about squawking "Man overboard!".
Shipwreck, even with the explosions all around him, gets to the woman.
On the ship Lady Jaye asks the captain if they can hold out long enough for Deep Six to arrive in a Shark. The Captain is unsure how long they can last as Deep Six radios in and informs them that he is 15 minutes out. Polly cuts into the conversation and informs them that Shipwreck has gone overboard.
The Captain calls for the alarm while Duke, in a Sky Hawk, tries to by them some time. He locates Shipwreck and the Sub. He fires on the sub to keep it busy. The sub suffers some damage and is taken out of the fight temporarily.
Up top Shipwreck has managed to get the woman aboard. The medics note that her skin is blue. They believe she must be near frozen. Shipwreck and Lady Jaye make note of the Cobra insignia on the woman's wetsuit.
Destro fires a missile from the sub targeted at the Sky Hawk. Gung Ho is able to destroy it but the Sky Hawk is damaged. Duke brings it in for a landing and escapes before it goes up in flames.
Meanwhile Shipwreck realizes that the woman is not getting any better. He pushes the medic aside to attempt CPR himself only to find that she has gills. He grabs her and jumps back into the water.
Below the surface Cobra Commander and the Crimson Twins want to take the opportunity to run. Destro reminds them that not only is the sub better armed than the ship but that they cannot leave the woman in the Joe's hands. Cobra Commander agrees and sends out a team of divers.
In the water the woman is breathing easy as the divers surface and attack. During the fight we learn that the woman's name is Mara. The fight ends quickly as Lady Jaye is able to get the upper hand.
To make matters worse for Cobra Deep Six arrives in the Shark. Below the surface Destro realizes that the Joes were looking for an American Sub that Cobra had stolen. The Crimson twins tell him that it was stupid to take it in the first place. Cobra Commander chimes in my reminding everyone how much the new weapons aboard the sub are worth.
As they are arguing Deep Six attacks and forces the sub to the surface. Destro fires a few more torpedoes at the ship to occupy the Shark and cover their getaway. The Cobra sub escapes as the Joes head to a nearby island. As the sub leaves Destro overhears the Joes location.
On the island Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, and Doc interrogate the woman whose name is Mara. She was a Cobra Eel who volunteered for an experiment to make her amphibious. The experiment left her unable to breath air. She was told that Cobra would do their best to reverse the process but was lied to.
Lady Jaye is suspicious of her while Shipwreck believes her completely. Eventually they agree that she would be able to help them locate the missing sub. To help facilitate this Doc comes up with a portable water supply.
The Joes head out to a smaller more easily defend-able island as Cobra attacks. Shipwreck and Mara separate from the group during the battle. This leads to a nice moment between the two. That is ruined when the Dreadnoks appear and capture the two.
Mara, who has lost her breathing apprentice, fakes being week and the two escape from the Dreadnoks. They swim away and end up on the island the Joes had originally set out for. While on the beach Mara tells Shipwreck about herself. He realizes that she does know where the Cobra base and the missing sub are.
The other Joes arrive and Mara tells them where the base and sub are located. Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, Mara, and a group of Joes prepare to dive.
In the base Destro is attempting to force Commander Jordan, who was in charge of the stolen sub, into telling him the computer code for the sub's computer. Commander Jordan, to his credit, fights against him.
Meanwhile Mara has led the Joes to the base. Shipwreck tells her to stay outside but she follows them anyway. Once inside she begins placing explosive charges as the Joes search for the Commander and his crew.
Mara finds him first and he leads her to his crew. She frees them before continuing to plant bombs. Elsewhere Lady Jaye gets captured and is placed into the device that changed Mara, by Destro and the Crimson Twins. After which the three men vacate the sub.
The other Joes stumble upon the Commander and his crew and Shipwreck learns that Mara is aboard the base. He sends the other Joes, Commander Jordan, and his crew away and tells them to give him 5 minutes before setting off.
As that is happening Mara finds and saves Lady Jaye in the nick of time, but she has been out of water for too long and collapses. Shipwreck arrives and helps the two out of the base as it explodes.
On the sub the Commander waits as long as he can but has to set off. As the sub leaves they see that Shipwreck, Lady Jaye, and Mara have gotten out as well.
The episode ends with Mara leaving Shipwreck for a life in the water.
This wasn't the best episode. It was a little bland and to be perfectly honest it didn't leave much of an impression on me. This is one I'd say to pass over.
Quote of the Episode.
From Shipwreck.
"How'd you like lose ten pounds toots. All from the neck up!"
Awesome Moment of the Episode.
Shipwreck finally gets some female attention. It's good to see my favorite Joe affection. Even if it is from a blue chick.
The "Wait. What?" Moment of the Episode.
There wasn't anything really stupid or weird in this episode. In fact not one thing made me go "Wait. What?". But I can't leave this space empty. Well, I could but I'm not going to. Instead I will point out that for a few seconds of the show is a close up of Polly's ass. Which in hindsight (Get It?) is pretty weird.
We had some highs and lows this week. The Good, the Blah, and the Bat Shit Insane. It was a lot of fun. Not much else to say other than take some time and watch some G.I.Joe. It'll bring a smile to your face.
