Damn!! Thursday.

The above picture may not stand out but you should click it. If you do you will read a funny and possibly infuriating detention note. Is it worthy of Damn!! Thursday? Probably not, but I found it funny. I can assure you that this week's Damn!! Thursday will deliver on the shock and awe. Don't believe me? Click through and find out.

We all tell lies. It can't be helped. But very few of us go as far as Jessica Vega. Her lie was one hell of a whopper. She told her family and friends that she was dieing of cancer. You may wonder what the point of that lie is. What could she get out of it? A dream wedding. Jessica's family, friends, and even strangers donated money so that she could have the wedding of her dreams and a honeymoon to match. Her crafty lie fell apart when she didn't die. Her husband (poor bastard) became suspicious when her health failed to, well, fail. On a side note I can't help but notice that she didn't shave her head. I have seen people who claimed to have cancer and everyone of them shaved their heads to really sell the story. This chick just got a haircut. Source.

Korea appears to have a problem with online gaming addiction. You may scoff but this can be a real problem. Take the case of a woman only known as Ms. A. While playing games at a South Korean Internet Cafe or PC bang as it is called went into labor and gave birth in the establishment's bathroom. After which she placed the baby in a bag and left it in a garbage can outside the cafe. Apparently the woman was in a relationship with a man she met on the Internet but when he learned she was pregnant he broke it off. Alone and had up for cash she asked her online gaming friends for money just to survive. It is claimed that her addiction caused to fell no responsibility for the child. Sadly the baby did not survive.The woman has since been arrested. Source.

Let's go from one dead baby to another dead baby. Well kind of. You see Anaila Bouter gave birth to a premature baby that appeared to be stillborn. As sad as that is, it isn't shocking. What is shocking is what happened next. 12 hours after giving birth Anaila visited her stillborn baby in the morgue only to find her alive. This isn't a normal over site. Somehow this baby, who was attended to by obstetricians, gynecologists, and a neonatologist, was mistakenly pronounced dead. I smell one hell of a lawsuit. Source.

Cathy Samford was named "Coach of the Year" at the school she had been working at. She was well liked and very good at her job. She was fired none the less. Why? Well she was pregnant out of wedlock. Heritage Christian Academy finds that as a valid reason to fire a teacher. I smell another lawsuit. Source.

The last thing you expect to see at a Fried Chicken Restaurant is a chicken. No really think about it. Why would a live chicken be anywhere near a place that serves mass quantities of chicken? I don't know the answer to that, but I can say that any chicken that does that, has to have massive nuggets. Take the red rooster that has been doing just that in the town of Collierville. Every day this brave bird saunters across a busy street to meander in front of Gus's Fried Chicken. Source.
