Awesome Fat Guy of the Week.

We have reached the end of another week. As such we deserve a reward, and what reward would be better than an Awesome Fat Guy. This week we look at the hilarious Will Sasso. I do need to preface the following post. Will Sasso used to be much fatter. He lost a lot of weight a number of years ago. Even with that he is not a thin person. I still consider him a Fat Guy even though he is more aptly described as a big guy.

William "Will" Sasso was born May 24, 1975 in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada. He began his career at an early age. He started working at the age of 15 when he got his first agent. He starred for five seasons in the award-winning Canadian drama "Madison". In 1996 he had a small role in "Doctor Who: The TV Movie" which was aired of FOX.

Soon after he joined the cast of "Madtv". Will soon became a stand out performer. Mainly do to his large repertuar of celebrity impressions and quirky original characters. My personal favorite impressions were Steven Seagal, Kenny Rogers, Randy Newman, and William Shatner. Of his original characters I feel Paul Timberman was the most memorable. In 2002 Will left "Madtv" to pursue other projects.

Since leaving Madtv Will has appeared in many TV shows and Movies. He had a recurring role on the ABC sitcom "Less than Perfect". He has also done smaller parts in shows such as "Two and a Half Men", "How I Met Your Mother", "Neighbors from Hell", and "Childrens Hospital". His filmography is also broad including appearances in "Life As We Know It", "A Mighty Wind", "Southland Tales", and as the lead in "The Legend Of Awesomest Maximus".

Now you may be wondering why I am spotlighting a man whose career, to date, has been somewhat lackluster. Well my reasoning is simple. I believe Will Sasso will be huge star. All he needs is a breakout role. Such as starring in "The Three Stooges" movie as Curly Howard. That's right Will Sasso has a starring role in the Farrelly brothers latest movie. If anything is going to get him the recognition he deserves it will be that.

Even if Will Sasso doesn't become the huge star I feel he should be, he is still an Awesome Fat Guy. The man is funny and amazingly talented. What else do you need. Oh and he is one a few funny fat guys to lose weight and still be funny.

That makes him the Awesome Fat Guy of the Week.
