Michael Bennett is an artist, puppeteer, and host. He is most widely known for Phil Buni and the Bunny Perspective. The former being the character he plays and latter being bother the name of the show and name of the website. In the Bunny Perspective, Michael as Phil reviews movies, anime, and other random forms of media. The character of Phil is a loudmouthed, pot smoking, drinker who has no problem expressing his opinions, whether they be negative or positive.
While the Bunny Perspective may be Michael's most successful endeavor it is not his only one. He hosts a live steam on his site and his the title card artist for a number of members at That Guy With the Glasses. His artwork is not limited to these duties. He has done renditions of most of the members of That Guy With the Glasses in both a steam punk style and in a modern My Little Pony style. While that may seem weird Michael is what is known as a "Bronie" a male fan of the new My Little Pony show Friendship is magic. He is not alone in that regard. CR who I spotlighted a few weeks ago is also a Bronie. I have never seen the show, but as a fan of Kim Possible I refuse to judge.
You may have noticed that this spotlight is a little short. There is a reason for that. While Michael has worked with members of TGWTG he has yet to be picked up by the site. I am sure it is only a matter of time. Until then Michael and Phil as well as the other members of his team have to toil in relative anonymity. I hope that this post sheds just a little bit of light on the man. He deserves it.
