Damn!! Thursday.

It's time for this weeks edition of Damn!! Thursday. The above picture is from the Life Archive. It is one of a number of pictures in a series entitled Living with a Lion from 1970s. In it a family is shown going through it's everyday life accompanied by a lion. I don't know who they are or why they have a lion but I found the pictures to be both beautiful and incredibly interesting. It's a good way to start this Damn!! Thursday.
 

This picture shows a wild leopard attacking a man in eastern India. The leopard killed one man and injured a number of people. The man in the picture above had part of his scalp ripped off during the attack. You can read more about the incident here.

On to the videos. The first video shows a forklift driver making one small mistake and the consequences of that mistake.

In Sarasota, Florida Donna L. Chen a 53 year old woman was hit and killed by a drunk driver. She was walking her dog at the time. The dog was also hurt in the incident. After the incident the dog, probably scared out of his mind, ran away and jumped into the Gulf of Mexico. Once in the water he swam for miles before coming upon a Kayaker. That is were the video picks up. Watch it. The dog is okay and back with it's family. The dog was incredibly lucky and came upon a good man. I might even say a Damn!! good man. I won't thought.

The man in the video above is Polish prosecutor Mikolaj Przybyl. During a news conference he excused himself, asking for a few minutes to rest, he then proceeded to shoot himself in head. You can read the story behind is failed suicide attempt here. I won't go into the situation but the important thing is that he is still alive. The man shot himself in the head and survived. That is Damn!! lucky.

For the final video we have Ewan Dobson playing guitar. Ewan is a Canadian finger style guitarist who is noted for his intensity and virtuosity. He is Damn!! talented.
