This week NXT features rage,  the most traveled woman in wrestling, and literal 50/50 booking.

This week's NXT is opening with the 8 man tag that was advertised last week.

On one side you have Enzo and Big Cass with American Alpha, who are rocking some cool new gear. I am digging the multi colored singlets. On the other is Blake & Murphy and Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson.

It's weird that the biggest guys in this match are faces. The heels look really out-manned because of that.

The match was good. The high point being when Cass and Jordan went on a tear. They looked like monsters as they tossed the heels around.

Deonna Purrazzo has wrestled for NXT, TNA, and ROH in the past few weeks. That is a feet that I don't think anyone, male or female, has accomplished.  She is going to face Asuka this week. As she was doing a promo Dana Brooke and  Emma came out. I don't know what Dana Brooke was wearing but she should buy another one and then throw both of them out.

I remember when I used to watch the UFC and they would cut to the crowd to show the three guys behind Tapout. I always thought they looked like low rent GI Joes. It's so weird to see how far that company has come.

Watching Asuka murder women is the best part of NXT. There isn't another person, note I said person not woman, on the roster that is as intimidating as Asuka. She sells Psycho Killer better than Tommaso Ciampo and that's his freaking gimmick. The only person that comes close to her is Samoa Joe.

Do you know what the best thing about Alex Riley is? It's his music. I love his music. After that it's all down hill. He used to have a good look though. He pulled off the clean cut athlete thing perfectly. That's a look he should go back to. The long hair and beard are doing him no favors.

Tye Dillenger needs a tag partner. He is too good to still be in NXT but not interesting enough to make it on the main roster by himself. Maybe with the right gimmick, as he is now, no. So he needs a partner. I think he would shine in a tag team.

Here's an odd thing. The heel announcer going after a heel wrestler. Alex Riley is a heel so you would think that Corey Graves would try to build him up. You would be wrong. It's true that graves has downplayed his heelness recently but he is just burying Riley.

When was the last time Tye Dillenger won a match? I can't remember it. I wonder if this was the beginning of a push for him. I say 'was' because he is out with an injury. If it was that sucks, it sucks either way, but it sucks more if there were plans for him.

Is it weird that I'm more excited about the Edge and Christian show then Fastlane?

Let's talk about the main event. It was awesome. Sami Zayn is such a great baby face and Joe is the epitome of a monster. They have the same sort of chemistry that Zayn had with Owens. The only different is that Joe carries himself with less ego and a greater air of danger.

I really enjoyed this match. Joe was getting a lot of the offense but when Zayn got the upper hand you believed he was going to win. Watching Zayn get Joe up for a Blue Thunder Bomb was cool.

The finish was interesting. They are really pushing the idea that these guys are evenly matched. If this leads to another match I'm all for it.

This finish and the one to the triple threat with Corbin bring a new meaning to term 50/50 booking.
