Today I want to talk about my favorite Internet personality. Brad Jones. Film maker, Exploitation movie fan, show host, and owner of an amazing voice.
Brad Jones started his Internet empire with the Cinema Snob. The Cinema Snob was both the show he created and the character he portrayed. On the show Brad would lovingly, for the most part, skewer Exploitation Films from the past. Mainly Grind House movies from the 70's and horror movies from the 80's. Although he was not limited to those genres or time periods. He has ventured all the way back to the 1940's and ventured into the world of porn. Such as with E.T. the Porno. Originally the show was hosted on YouTube. That is until the people behind "Nail Gun Massacre" got him booted.
Not one to just quit, Brad landed on his feet. First by having a number of his videos hosted on The Spoony Experiment and then by starting his own site. All the while continuing to produce Cinema Snob episodes. To date he has done over 150 episodes.
With the freedom having his own site granted him, Brad began developing new shows and characters. Such as Kung Tai Ted in which he spotlights bad martial arts movies while dubbing himself (Badly) and doing martial arts (Very Badly).
There is The Big Box. Which stars his wife's Jillian Zurawski's, breast. In this show Brad does a voice over, as a character named Vic, about big box VHS tapes while his wife models them. The videos tend to linger on her rather prominent endowments.
He also has a round table show about the films of Bruno Mattei called, originally enough, The Bruno Mattei Show. Mattei, a very prolific Italian director, specialized in Exploitation and unauthorized remakes. Both of which Brad loves. On the show Brad and a number of his friends review and discuss one of Bruno Mattei's movies. The plan is to review every single one of his movies. Which considering the length of Mattei's filmography will be quite a feet.
Having experimented with the sitcom format with his Brad and Jerrid shorts, he decided to do something longer and more ambitious. And so was born 80's Dan. In 80's Dan, Brad plays a man who has some how time traveled from the 80's to the present. As such he has a huge love of all things 80's.
With all that he still finds time to make movies, record pod casts, make cameos in other webshows, post vlogs, and so on. The man is a workaholic. Not only that, but he produces a huge amount of content while keeping the quality of it very high. There is not enough I can say about him. He is one of the most entertaining men on the Internet.
Brad Jones is a true Internet Entertainer.
