On this edition of Web Wednesday I want to introduce you to Bob and Carl the Sci-Fi Janitors.
Bob and Carl where originally conceived by Michael Goodwin as a video for an Atlanta puppet slam. The idea was hugely successful at DragonCon 2010. The shorts became fan favorites on DragonConTV's programming. The Sci-Fi Janitors Team, which consists of Beau Brown, Matt Nitchie, and Patrick Freeman, decided to take the ball and run with it.
It was decided that the team would continue with the show and release future episodes on the Internet. Most episodes of the show clock in at less than three minutes. As such they are perfect for passing the time, either at cons or at home.
The main staple of the show is the lampooning of Sci-Fi cliches and recent Sci-Fi releases. While it isn't necessary to be a science fiction fan to enjoy show, it does help. I would recommend Sci-Fi Janitors to anyone who is looking for a laugh.
